Optima by Hatsan Galatian V 5.5 mm - PCP carbine with automatic shot reloading
The Optima by Hatsan Galatian V air rifle is inevitably associated with the bullet express used by hunters for big game hunting. In addition to its elegant attractive hunting style, the air rifle offers excellent accuracy and high rate of fire, which was achieved thanks to the automatic shot reloading mechanism. The shot is fired each time the trigger tongue is pulled down without the need to manually insert the shotgun into the barrel. If we add to this the lack of recoil after the shot, we get the Optima by Hatsan Galatian V precision pcp carbine.
The Optima by Hatsan Galatian V 5.5mm air rifle has a stylish barrel made of selected Turkish walnut wood. Aesthetically pleasing checkering was made on the pistol grip and bed, which gives the carbine an elegant style and improves the carbine's grip. The symmetrical flask allows right- and left-handed shooters to use the carbine comfortably, and thanks to the profiled foot, we can comfortably and securely rest the carbine in the shooting hole.
The Optima by Hatsan Galatian V carbine has a double 11/22 mm rail for an optical sight and an additional Picatinny rail allowing the use of a bipod.
The carbine uses a precisely furrowed 500 mm barrel, ending in an integrated sound suppressor that effectively lowers the firing sound. The rifle is powered by compressed air stored in a replaceable aluminum cartridge with a capacity of 255 cc. A fully charged hp reservoir allows the user to fire approximately 50 shots with a repeatable initial velocity. Thanks to a pressure gauge, the user can easily control the pressure and remaining air reserve.
The Optima by Hatsan Galatian V 5.5mm pcp rifle uses a self-indexing 12-shot magazine for shot feeding, which is reloaded automatically after the shot is fired. Such a solution is extremely comfortable for the shooter and allows you to concentrate only on working on the trigger tongue and the aiming process. The high accuracy of the air rifle is due, among other things, to the use of an adjustable two-stage Quattro Trigger. The user can independently define the length of the pre-trigger path and the trigger weight, so already after a short shooting practice we can get a tight and satisfying focus on the target. The carbine has 2 mechanisms responsible for the safety of use: Anti-Knock System-mechanism that prevents uncontrolled firing in case of a fall or large shock to the carbine, and a manual safety located in the bail.
Included with the carbine is a set of accessories: a Quick-Fill charging plug, a set of o-rings 3 12-shot magazines, a polymer carrying case and a belt for carrying the carbine.
Shots fired from the carbine reach speeds of up to 200 m/s.
Note that the set does not include targeting instruments.
