The Fenix CL28R outdoor lamp is the first lighting model from Fenix that allows the color temperature of the light to be varied infinitely from 2700 to 6000 K. The lamp emits a white light of 2000 lumens and an angle of 160°, useful for illuminating a wide scene, work area or camping. Fenix CL28R - lighting for photographers and social media content creators

The source of white light is a COB LED emitter with a maximum flux of 2000 lumens, allowing to illuminate an area with an ultra-wide angle of 160° at a distance of up to 50 meters. The simple design of the COB LED wafer makes it possible to generate a powerful flux (it has a much better lumens-per-watt ratio) while consuming low energy, which makes this type of emitter increasingly replace traditional halogens. The most important feature of the COB type LED wafer is that it emits a uniform stream of light with high optical density. A COB LED emitter consists of multiple LEDs grouped and connected together directly on a single chip/board - hence the name COB (Chip On Board).

The user has 3 brightness settings for white light: high (2,000 lumens), medium (1,000 lumens), low (10 lumens), and 2 red light modes, i.e. continuous light and flashing light with a flux of 9 lumens, thus allowing the user to customize the lighting. It is worth noting that the total runtime of the flashlight in the 2000 lumens turbo mode is nearly 9 hours! A large knurled knob is used to change the brightness level.

The light emitted by the red LED will be perfect for tasks that require preserving night vision, and can also serve as an emergency or rescue light. A separate button located on top of the lamp is used to activate the red light.

The most unique feature of the Fenix CL28R photo lamp is the light's color temperature adjustment system, which allows you to smoothly change the color from 2700 K to 6000 K. Thanks to this functionality, the Fenix CL28R lamp will be ideal as a light for night photography. The warm color of the light has a very high CRI coefficient, so that objects photographed under this light have such natural such colors as if they were illuminated by sunlight. Infinite stepless adjustment of the light color is made with a mottled knob.

The built-in battery with an impressive capacity of 10,000 mAh provides up to 15 days of continuous illumination in low mode or up to 9 hours in turbo mode (total time). It's worth noting that the CL28R outdoor light can also act as a power bank to charge our phone or tablet. The built-in USB-C port with QC protocol charges the huge 10,000 mAh battery in just 4 hours, and the socket is protected from moisture, water and dust by a rubber plug. We can check the battery level at any time. To do this, just turn off the flashlight and press the orange button (used to activate the red light) once. The LED indicator for 3 seconds informs us about the status of the battery as follows:

• three luminous LEDs: 80-60%,
• two luminous diodes: 60-40%,
• one luminous diode: 40-20%
• one flashing diode: 20-1%

The CL28R's swivel halogen mount works 360°, and it also has a magnetic base and threaded socket, allowing the lamp to be attached to metal surfaces and mounted on any photo tripod. The CL28R is drop-proof from a height of 1.5 meters and IP66-rated, so it is a sturdy and reliable tool that can be relied on regardless of weather conditions.
