Fenix PD35R - compact tactical flashlight for uniformed service, hunters and survivalists
The body of the Fenix PD35R flashlight is made of hardened aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, which makes the flashlight's barrel and head resistant to scratches, abrasion and mechanical damage. The milling of the body and its geometric profile prevent the flashlight from slipping from the hand, and provide excellent grip. The PD35R also uses a spring-loaded clip that allows the flashlight to be quickly attached to a body armor and easily retrieved. The detachable clip also prevents the flashlight from rolling off an inclined surface. The flashlight has a new control system, consisting of two rear buttons with different shapes and functionality.
The light source is a new-generation LUMINUS SFT40 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 1700 lumens at a distance of as much as 353 meters. The cool-neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendering and better visibility of details. The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector, providing a concentrated stream of light with a strongly illuminated center of the scene. This design results in a focused light stream that can illuminate objects up to more than 350 meters away.
The user has 6 light modes at his disposal: turbo, high, medium, low, eco and strobe, thus allowing to customize the lighting. It is worth noting that the total runtime of the flashlight in the 1700 lumens turbo mode is nearly 135 minutes!
The flashlight is powered by a high-current 18650-type cell with a capacity of 3400 mAh. The battery used has over-discharge protection and nearly 1.5× the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which obviously translates into huge performance and impressive runtime.
The PD35R has a built-in USB-C charging port, allowing the cell to charge very quickly. A discharged 3400 mAh battery can be charged to full in less than 3 hours. The USB-C port also allows you to charge the flashlight from a portable power-bank, greatly increasing the mobility and capabilities of the Fenix PD35R. The socket is protected from moisture, water and dust by a rubber plug. Thanks to the function of the battery level indicator (LED in the body) and low voltage warning, we can control the operation of the flashlight and manage the remaining power supply. When the flashlight is turned on, the indicator informs us about the battery status for 3 seconds.

The PD35R flashlight has two rear switches: a round one and a smaller oval one for changing modes. The main button activates momentary light and turns on continuous illumination. The smaller oval button is responsible for changing the brightness of the light and activating the strobe flash light. Thanks to the memory function, the last used light mode is automatically selected the next time the flashlight is activated.
Fenix tactical flashlights for professionals
The flashlight employs several safety systems, including reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning and "intelligent protection" against overheating IOP, which reduces the brightness of the light to cool down when heated to 60°C. The high IP68 rating makes the flashlight resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 1m), dust and dirt, and falling.
