The Civivi Mini Praxis folding knife is a smaller version of the well-known and acclaimed Praxis model. Thanks to its small size and the combination of D2 steel, drop point blade, liner lock and durable plastic handle, the Praxis is a perfect addition to your EDC kit.
Civivi Mini Praxis folding knife - good steel.
The head of the Civivi Elementum Fixed Blade is made of D2 steel. The high chromium content makes it more resistant to corrosion. At the same time, the steel is tough and hard. Hardening from 59 to 61 HCR makes it slow to wear down.
Civivi Mini Praxis Folding Knife - head.
The knife has a blade of the widely used and proven Drop Pointtype. The small thickness of the cutting edge, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut perfectly. A section of the blade's back is covered with the so-called upper jimping, a notch that allows the thumb to rest safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work requiring greater precision and leverage.
Stonewash
Thanks to the Stonewash finish, the blade is stained black and covered with irregular, fine scratches, which mask well subsequent scratches that occur during normal use of the knife.
Civivi Mini Praxis folding knife - bearings, flipper and liner lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism.
The liner lock makes the tool safe and trustworthy. The knife opens with a flipper. When the head pops out of the handle, it forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Civivi Mini Praxis folding knife - G10 handle
The handle of the Civivi Elementum is made of green-dyed G10 plastic. This composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin is lightweight and not susceptible to mechanical damage. The rough texture of the liners makes the knife fit well even in a sweaty hand. Thanks to the open backed design , the tool can be cleaned and oiled without much trouble.
Civivi Mini Praxis - clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a double-sided clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case. The manufacturer remembered to include a microfiber cloth to help clean the tool.
