The Sencut Actium is a large and convenient folding knife, designed to complement an EDC kit. A versatile drop point head, strong steel and a secure locking mechanism make it a folder that will satisfy both collectors and those who treat a knife only as a handy tool.
Sencut Actium folding knife - strong steel
The Sencut Actium head was forged from D2 steel. Thanks to its high chromium content and hardening to 59-61 HRC, the material is hard and durable. The chrome provides corrosion resistance unparalleled among high-carbon steels. D2 holds an edge well, and thanks to its sizable carbide content in the microstructure, it features high wear resistance.
Sencut Actium folding knife - satin-finished, strong head
The Sencut Actium has a Drop Point type blade, which is characterized by a clearly marked belly and a ridge that slopes down toward the tip. The not-too-thick blade and high concave grind make the cutting edge very efficient. It thus makes the Sencut Actium an all-purpose knife, designed for simple work at home, out of town, or in the wilderness. The back of the blade is not ched and you can confidently rest your thumb there, making precise work easier.
Thesatin finish gives the blade an elegant touch.
Sencut Actium folding knife - smooth operation of the mechanism and Liner Lock.
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, which significantly support the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The folder opens with a thumb stud or a flipper. The proven Liner Lock provides the user with the necessary comfort and security. When opened, the flipper also forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Comfortable composite handle
The Sencut Actium has a black handle made of G10, a composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin. The liners have smooth edges, providing a comfortable grip even during prolonged use. The open-backed design reduces the weight of the knife and makes it easier to clean.
Sencut Actium - clip and case.
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a double-sided clip, which is designed so that the tool hardly protrudes from the pocket and does not catch the eye. The folder can also be carried in a zippered case.
