Sencut Sachse is, in this price range, one of the most interesting folding knives. Lightweight, functional, made of durable materials and using proven solutions, it will prove itself as part of an EDC kit. You can confidently take it on a trip out of town or on a survival trip into the wilderness.
Sencut Sachse folding knife - 9Cr18MoV steel.
Thanks to its sizable chromium and medium carbon content, 9Cr18MoV steel provides high hardness (range 58-60 HRC) and moderate corrosion resistance. The admixture of molybdenum, silicon and vanadium increases strength and wear resistance.
Sencut Sachse folding knife, or Drop Point head
The Sencut Crowley features a Drop Point type blade. The cutting edge with a pronounced belly, a not too thick head and a high concave grind make the folder cut and slice very well. The back of the blade is notched and you can confidently rest your thumb there, making it easier to work and manipulate the blade with precision.
Stonewash
Thanks to the Black Stonewash finish, the black-tinted blade is covered with irregular, fine scratches that mask well any further scratches that occur during normal use of the knife.
Sencut Sachse folding knife - three ways to open.
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, which significantly support the operation of the knife's opening mechanism.
Sencut Sachse has a button lock. It is released by pressing the button located on one of the facings. The spring, which is located under the button, helps prevent accidental opening.
The knife can be opened in three ways: by gravity, when the lock is released; thanks to a thumb stud or thanks to a special index-finger flipper. The latter, when opened, protrudes above the handle and forms a kind of gut, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. It is worth adding that the button lock and the ability to "play with gravity" can make the owner of the knife a lot of fun.
Sencut Sachse folding knife - comfortable handle
Sencut Sachse has a handle made of mircarta, a composite made by combining pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin. The liners have smooth edges, providing a comfortable grip even during prolonged work. The open-backed design reduces the weight of the knife and makes it easier to clean.
Sencut Sachse - clip and case
The manufacturer has equipped the knife with a double-sided clip, so you can carry it comfortably in a trouser pocket or backpack. The tool is then unobtrusive. The folder can also be carried in a zippered case.
