Civivi Elementum folding knife, or Damascus steel
The head of the Civivi Elementum is made of Damascus steel with an intriguing Raindrop Pattern, and the blade is finished using the Black Hand Rubbed method. The hardness of the steel is in the 58-60 HRC range.

The knife features a Drop Point type blade. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut very well. A section of the back of the blade is covered with the so-called upper jimping, or notching, allowing the thumb to rest there safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work that requires more precision and leverage.
Civivi Elementum folding knife - bearings, flipper and liner lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. Thanks to the proven liner lock, the tool is safe and trustworthy.
The knife opens with a flipper. When the head pops out of the handle, the latter forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Civivi Elementum folding knife - handle
The Civivi Elementum has a handle formed from a combination of carbon fiber and copper pieces, embedded in a transparent resin. The mixture is lightweight and not susceptible to mechanical damage.
Due to its open backed design, the tool can be cleaned and oiled without much trouble.
In the lower part of the handle you can find a hole for a cord or lanyard, in the upper part a small brand logo.
Civivi Elementum - clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case. Civivi even remembered to include a microfiber cloth to help clean the tool.
