The ANV M311 Spelter military knife was designed in cooperation with professionals from special aviation units and other uniformed services. During the development of the knife, the focus was on using their experience and requirements. This unique cooperation resulted in a design with the highest quality materials. The tactical knife was tested over a long period of time in extreme conditions and various climates, including hot, dry and humid parts of Asia, as well as in frigid areas outside the Arctic Circle.
Folding knife made of high-quality materials
The fixed blade knife is equipped with a Sleipner tool steel blade with 60 HRC hardening, which has been coated with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) protective coating. Sleipner is a new generation D2 steel with improved hardness, toughness and better edge retention. Note that Sleipner is not stainless steel, so it requires proper maintenance.
The linings in the knife ensure safety during operation and a firm grip
The knife's olive-colored liners were created from highly durable and weather-resistant Micarta plastic, which has been 3D processed. Thanks to its shape and grooves, the knife fits securely in the hand and provides a safe grip in any situation. In the back of the knife's handle there is a hole for threading a paracord or safety lanyard.
The Kydex sheath makes it easy to carry the knife safely
The knife's sheathis made of durable Kydex material, which is equipped with a MOLLE/PALS standard mounting clip, making it very easy to mount the knife on a tactical vest or other piece of equipment.
