The Grayl GeoPress filter bottle is an effective and easy-to-use system for water purification and filtration. Thanks to its innovative carbon filter, it removes not only pathogens from water, but also pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals and microplastics, while improving the taste, smell and clarity of the liquid.
The bottle will fit into the drink compartment of any backpack, and the water purification process requires no special preparation or additional liquid disinfectants.
Grayl UltraPress bottle - construction
The Grayl GeoPress consists of four components: a durable outer container, a carbon filter, a clean water container and a lid with a mouthpiece for drinking and venting. To facilitate the process of pressing the filter, the sides of the lid are wider and covered with non-slip rubber. The container holds 710 ml of water, and the filter capacity is 250 liters or 3 years from the first use.
The bottle is made of durable and bisphenol-free plastic. It is equipped with SimpleVent Cap system, which protects the mouthpiece from contamination.
Grayl UltraPress bottle - the principle of operation.
To purify water, simply unscrew the inner module from the bottle and fill the outer part with water. Then place the inner module back into the outer part and press it firmly inward. Under pressure, the water is guided through the purifying filter and is already fit for consumption. The whole process should not take more than 10 seconds.
