The black-finished blade is made of 440C stainless steel, which offers good strength, wear and corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, which is especially important for those who are not skilled in sharpening. The 69mm-long blade has a symmetrical spearpoint profile, which offers penetration and good cutting qualities. The thickness of the blade is 2.8 mm, which guarantees strength and ease of cutting.
The Walther CSK uses a slipjoint safety mechanism, a simple spring lock that prevents accidental folding and unfolding of the blade. However, since the blade can be closed with negligible force, the slip-joint mechanim is not considered a full-fledged knife lock. This also makes slip-joint knives legal in countries where you can't carry a knife with a locking blade.
The CSK folding knife has rubberizedplastic liners. The ergonomic shape of the handle provides a secure grip and good control during use. The use of a spring clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly and conveniently in a pocket, making it an ideal EDC (Everyday Carry) tool.
