The sight has a sealed aluminum body with IP67 protection standard, which ensures resistance to fog, rain and shock. The viewfinder has a large exit pupil and a generous eyebox (69mm), which allows for quick folding without the need to maintain the correct optical axis. As a result, the Primary Arms SLx 3X prismatic sight provides a wide field of view and is wonderfully suited for dynamic shooting at moving targets, where we don't always have time to properly fold in for a shot. The proprietary ACSS 7.62/.300BLK reticle is etched on the glass, so it is visible regardless of the time of day even without the use of a backlight. The aiming mark has illumination (horseshoe and chevron) with 13 degrees of daytime settings and 3 settings for night vision. The ACSS Raptor is Primary Arms' proprietary reticle scaled to the ballistics of 7.62/.300BLK ammunition. The ACSS Raptor reticle has a thinner chevron (inverted V) in the center surrounded by a thicker horseshoe. Underneath the chevron is a scale for estimating distance and accurately flaunting targets at various distances.
