SLx prismatic sights combine the speed of target entry with a collimator, the precision of an optical sight and compact size, which is why they are a popular choice not only for astigmatists, but also for shooters looking for a versatile sight for short and medium range shooting.
The American brand Primary Arms, famous for its high-quality optical sights, collimators, prismatic sights and shooting accessories, has taken the American market by storm, offering products with great value for money. Most of the products come with a lifetime warranty, which emphatically emphasizes confidence in the products offered. Primary Arms is also famous for its proprietary ACSS target reticle, which allows novice shooters to improve their shooting skills in no time.

Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism is a compact prismatic sight with 3× magnification belonging to the highly regarded Slx line, which owes its reputation for reliability, innovation and excellent value for money. During field tests, Primary Arms optics were tested on SCAR 17 .308 Win, with more than 7,000 rounds of ammunition fired without harming the sights. The Primary Arms SLx 3x uses an improved ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 metric unit sight reticle etched on premium low dispersion glass, and a reinforced mounting base to ensure rigidity and reliability of attachment to the weapon.
The Primary Arms SLx 3x is a prismatic sight with 3× magnification that allows easy target identification at medium range, as well as fast shooting with both eyes on targets at close range. Many shooters face the problem of astigmatism, an ocular affliction that causes the aiming point to become blurred/distorted, etc., when using a collimator. This makes it difficult to aim especially at small, far away targets. This problem can be solved by replacing the collimator, a much more expensive holographic sight, a running scope or a prismatic sight, which is breaking records of popularity overseas. Unlike collimators, prismatic zoom sights have a BDC sighting reticle, a much clearer image free of parallax error. They also provide greater precision when shooting at longer distances, while allowing binaural aiming with full situational awareness.
Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism prismatic sight with 3× magnification is ideal for any astigmatist
The sight has a sealed aluminum body with IP67 protection standard, which ensures resistance to fog, rain and shock. The viewfinder has a large exit pupil and a generous eyebox (69mm), which allows for quick folding without the need to maintain the correct optical axis. As a result, the Primary Arms SLx 3X prismatic sight provides a wide field of view and is wonderfully suited for dynamic shooting at moving targets, where we don't always have time to properly fold in for a shot. The proprietary ACSS 7.62/.300BLK reticle is etched on the glass, so it is visible regardless of the time of day even without the use of a backlight. Under the aiming mark there is a metric scale that allows estimating the distance to the target and shooting at different distances. The aiming mark has illumination (horseshoe and chevron) with 13 degrees of daytime settings and 3 settings for night vision. The use of the AutoLive motion sensor provides extended battery life - up to 29,000 on a medium brightness setting. After prolonged immobility, AutoLive automatically turns off the illumination of the sight, which is immediately restored when the weapon is moved.
The ACSS Raptor is Primary Arms' proprietary reticle scaled to the ballistics of 7.62/.300BLK ammunition. The ACSS Raptor reticle has a thinner chevron (inverted V) in the center surrounded by a thicker horseshoe. Underneath the chevron is a scale for estimating distance and accurately flaunting targets at various distances. The result is an intuitive reticle that is great for dynamic shooting at short range and precision shooting at medium range. ACSS is an extremely simple yet functional sighting system, the advantages of which have been appreciated by beginners and experienced shooters around the world. The graduation is expressed in meters, which greatly facilitates the use of the sighting reticle function.
Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism has a solid aluminum mount with key steel components, which guarantees a stable and reliable zero hold. We can purchase additional elevations for the sight, allowing the sight to be seated at the appropriate height in as many as 8 combinations.
