Primary Arms SLx MD-25 ACSS-CQB is a lightweight and rugged collimator sight with a closed design. With its AutoLive motion sensor, it is practical and energy efficient. Subjected to rigorous tests, it will prove itself as a targeting device for weapons with strong recoil. The manufacturer vouches that it will also stand up to harsh environmental conditions, so it will work in rain and dusty air (IP67 standard). The body of the collimator is made of aluminum and filled with nitrogen. The lenses do not evaporate. To ensure fast and accurate target entry regardless of lighting conditions, a 2 MOA dot aiming point with 12-position illumination adjustment was used. An anti-reflective coating ensures good light transmission, resulting in a clear and discoloration-free image.
Battery and Autolive
The Primary SLx MD-25 ACSS-CQB collimator is distinguished by its impressive battery life of up to 50,000 hours per battery, or more than 5 years of continuous illumination. Such a high level of energy efficiency is ensured by Autolive - a system that turns off the collimator when the weapon is not moving and activates the sight when the weapon moves. The solution is both convenient and practical, as it significantly extends the operating time on a single battery. Consequently, the operating costs of the sight are practically zero.
The kit comes with elevators and spacers, thanks to which the collimator can be easily mounted on AR system carbines, AKs, on shotguns, etc.
ACSS-CQB reticle
The collimator is equipped with an ACSS-CQB target reticle designed for close-range shooting. It consists of a chevron and three dots surrounded by a distinct red horseshoe. It allows putting off corrections for 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO bullets at distances up to 550 meters.
Primary Arms SLx MD-25 ACSS-CQB - collimator construction.
The body of the sight is made of anodized aluminum. The matte finish protects the metal from oxidation and hardens its surface for scratch resistance. The collimator has a lightweight and durable design, measuring 76.2 cm and weighing 184 grams. Primary Arms SLx MD-25 ACSS-CQB will therefore be a good solution for all shooters who care about reducing the weight of the shooting set (weapon and sight).
On the right side of the body there is a knob adjusting the illumination. Thanks to its sizable size, it is easy to manipulate. The first two modes are designed for night vision. The last one will prove useful in areas of intense sunlight.
Lenses with a diameter of 25 mm are coated with anti-reflective coating, providing a clear image. They allow you to look at the target with both eyes, without parallax error.
