Primary Arms by Holosun Micro Red Dot HS507C-GR X2 - a collimator for the ACSS Vulcan reticle pistol
The body of the sight is made by precision milling method from 7075 aluminum. The device has a lightweight and durable design weighing only 42 g. The base of the collimator is made in the popular RMR mounting standard. Unlike the previous version, the X2 series features a new - horizontal - button layout, which, according to most users, is more convenient and user-friendly. The X2 collimator is also enriched with Lock Mode, which, when activated, disables the operation of the buttons, thus preventing accidental changes to the sight settings. The device has a high IP67 rating, making it resistant to weather conditions and temporary immersion in water. The aluminum body is finished with a hard anodizing technique, which provides high resistance to abrasion and scratches.
The Primary Arms by Holosun HE507C-GR X2 pistol collimator uses an innovative sighting solution in the form of the ACSS Vulcan system.
TheACSS Vulcan revolutionizes the targeting system with the collimator. Instead of the standard dot, a green mark in the form of a chevron (inverted V) is used, which allows quick target entry and precise shooting at longer distances. The aiming mark is supported by a large circle (with an option to turn it off), which helps to quickly position the chevron perfectly in the center of the target. If you lose the aiming point, you can see the outline of the circle on the edges of the lens, which helps you instinctively apply corrections and return to the desired target. The ACSS Vulcan reticle collimator provides a noticeable advantage over mechanical sighting devices when shooting fast at distant targets.
The Primary Arms by Holosun Micro Red Dot HS507C-GR X2 uses lenses coated with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, which provide high light transmission and a clear and sharp image free of parallax error.
Solar powered
The collimator is powered by a CR1632 battery, which, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 20,000 hours of operation at a brightness setting of 6. In addition, the device uses a Solar Failsafe panel, which in strong light (sunlight or artificial) supports the operation of the battery, is responsible for automatic brightness adjustment of the aiming mark and replaces a discharged battery in an emergency situation. The user can use the automatic brightness adjustment or independently change the brightness have 10 daytime settings and 2 settings for night vision.
Battery saving system
With an impressive runtime of up to 20,000 hours, the device owes its battery life to the Shake Awake system, which automatically turns off the LED when there is no activity and the device goes into sleep mode. Re-activating the aiming mark requires only moving the weapon. The user can independently define the time after which the sleep mode is activated.
