The Holosun HS503-G ACSS Vulcan is a compact collimator sight with an enclosed design, which features a motion-awakening system, ACSS CQB target reticle and 1/3 co-witness mount.
The collimator is designed for the use of long guns including AR15 carbines, semi-automatic rifles.
Lightweight construction
The body of the sight is made of 6061-T6 aluminum by precision milling. The unit has a lightweight and durable design weighing only 138 g (with high mount). The Holosun HS503-G ACSS Vulcan provides "stable zero holding", has no parallax error, and its optics provide unlimited eye relief, making it suitable for use on sporting rifles, AR carbines and hunting weapons.
Optics
The Holosun HS503-G ACSS Vulcan uses lenses coated with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, which provide high light transmission and a clear and sharp image free of parallax error.
Electronic system
The control system and diode are resistant to shock (1000 G), weapon recoil and weather conditions, making the device work efficiently and stably on hunting and sporting weapons.
Battery saving system
Withan impressive runtime of up to 50,000 hours, the device owes itsoperation to a motion sensor, which automatically turns off the LED when there is no motion activity, and the device goes into sleep mode. Re-activating the aiming mark only requires moving the weapon.
BDC ACSS Vulcan targeting reticle
The ACSS Vulcan is a proprietary Holosun reticle scaled to the ballistics of 7.62 NATO and 5.56 NATO ammunition. The ACSS Vulcan reticle has a thinner chevron (inverted V) in the center surrounded by a thicker horseshoe. Beneath the chevron is a dotted scale for applying fallout corrections. The result is an intuitive reticle that is great for dynamic shooting at short range and precision shooting at medium range. The ACSS is an extremely simple yet functional sighting system, the advantages of which have been appreciated by beginners and experienced shooters around the world.
Convenient battery mounting
An element that many shooters pay a lot of attention to is the battery mounting method. In the Holosun HS503-G, the battery is mounted on the side of the sight, under the nut on the right side of the body. Such functionality allows you to change the battery without removing the collimator from the weapon, as is the case with models with the battery located on the underside.
The set includes a high mount (1/3 co-witness) Picatinny rail mount designed mainly for carbines and a low mount recommended for shotguns and rifles of the AK family.
