An upgraded version of the HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 thermal imaging sight, bringing this highly successful design up to the latest standards. By optimizing the device's performance, HIKVISION engineers have achieved a substantial increase in the model's operating time - it will now allow up to 6.5 hours of continuous operation.
The refresh rate of the device has also been changed, which, thanks to an increase to 50 Hz, now guarantees extremely high smoothness and, consequently, comfort of observation. The model has also been given the ability to record sound, as well as to activate recording by sensing the recoil of the weapon on which it is mounted. However, the sight still retains the advantages of the original - an extremely compact design and excellent image quality, offering effective detection of game.

Construction of the HIKMICRO TH35P 2.0 thermal imaging sight
The HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 has a lightweight and durable body made of aluminum alloy (magnalia). This makes the Thunder TH35P 2.0, at 221.14 × 67.4 × 68.04 mm, the lightest sight in its class on the market. The aluminum construction also guarantees resistance to shock, impact and weather conditions. The body has been protected against water, dust and moisture (IP67 rating), so the sight is resistant to any weather conditions that may occur during hunting. It is extremely important to remain quiet during the hunt for game, so rubber buttons with noiseless operation have been used to operate the sight.
HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 thermal imaging sight - modular design
One of the main advantages of HIKMICRO thermal imaging sights is their modular design, thanks to which one device can perform various tasks. We offer the necessary accessories to make your HIKMICRO thermal imager your favorite tool for hunting and observation. With these accessories, you will be able to easily turn your thermal imaging cap into a handheld camera or a weapon sight (no modification of the sight into a cap is possible).
Image parameters
The HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 uses a sensitive 384 × 288 px sensor with <20 mK sensitivity, a high-quality 1024×768 px OLED display, a 35 mm lens and a functional static rangefinder. The lower the NETD value, the better the sensor detects temperature differences of objects, which contributes to excellent image quality. Such parameters ensure a clear image in any environmental conditions, so the viewfinder can be used in total darkness, fog, smoke, dust, as well as in rain and snow. The thermal imager has an optical magnification of 3.03 × and target detection at a distance of up to 1,800 m. The HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 has the popular PiP (picture-in-picture) function that allows the hunter to simultaneously and precisely observe a target while maintaining a wide field of view. Thunder also uses digital zoom in the 2×, 4× and 8× ranges.
The hunter has 4 of the most popular display modes available, and can choose between:
- White hot - warm in bright color. The higher the temperature, the brighter the tone.
- Black hot - warm in dark color. The higher the temperature, the darker the tonality.
- Red hot - image as in "black hot" with red highlighting of the warmest elements.
- Fusion - from high temperature to low temperature, the image is colored from white, yellow, red, pink to purple.
Thermal image technologies:
- DDE (digital detail enhancement) - digital detail enhancement, smooths the image while emphasizing details,
- 3DDNR (3D digital noise reduction) - digital noise reduction, effectively removes noise and affects image quality,
- AGC (automatic gain control) - automatic gain control, improves the contrast of the displayed scene.
Variable targeting reticles
HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 offers 10 different versions of target reticles which we can program in 5 profiles, each of them adjusting to our needs and preferences (different bullet drop, different distance, color and type of crosshairs, etc.) and the option to completely disable the reticle when using the sight for ordinary observation. An addition that all hunters will appreciate is the static rangefinder, which allows distance measurement based on factory values or user-defined settings. The HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 provides not only excellent support during hunting, but also in observation and patrol activities.
HIKMICRO Thunder TH35P 2.0 thermal imaging sight - functionality.
The Thunder thermal imager is powered by the included dedicated rechargeable batteries with increased performance. The operating time in this version reaches up to 6.5 hours and can be increased by connecting a power-bank (USB-C port). The upgrade also added a charging function for the thermal imager via the USB-C port. The device has 16GB of built-in memory to store captured photos or video footage.
HIKMICRO Sight app
Thanks to the Wi-Fi function, the TH35P 2.0 viewfinder can transmit images to any device based on a supported version of iOS or Android after installing the HIKMICRO Sight app. In the app itself, in addition to live viewing, the user can view the photo gallery, take photos and videos, and control the camera's basic functions. The app can be downloaded from the AppStore or Google Play store.
Free updates
Like all HIKMICRO cameras, the Thunder TH35P 2.0 viewfinder can also be updated independently by the user when a relevant update is released introducing not only bug fixes found, but also expanding the device's capabilities with new features.
