The head of the Condor Valhalla axe is made of forged 1060 high-carbon steel, hardened to a hardness of about 50-55 Rockwell for functionality and durability. The rustic finish was achieved through a hand hammering process. A handle of burnt American hickory provides traditional design and durability. The Valhalla Bearded Battle Axe was designed as a functional outdoor tool modeled after Nordic battle axes. The Viking-inspired design is highlighted by a rough finish and a handcrafted leather blade guard, and will work great as a field tool or decorative piece
