The Condor Gryphus is a massive Spanish-style bowie knife. It's hard to classify it - the tool is something between a tactical knife and a lightweight cleaver, crafted with enough finesse to work well even in the hands of an amateur carver.
The distinctive, sturdy blade is made of 1075 high-carbon steel, providing excellent cutting edge retention and high strength and wear resistance. The 1075 steel is relatively easy to sharpen, but it should be noted that the alloy does not contain chromium, so it is not corrosion resistant and requires proper care and maintenance.
The anatomically shaped handle is made of marbled micarta, which is jute pressed under pressure with synthetic resin. As a result, the handle fits perfectly in the hand, is durable and resistant to moisture. Two rivets hold the facings together.
The knife comes with a kydex scabbard. It is equipped with a leather loop, allowing you to carry the tool at your belt.
