Civivi Praxis is a full-size knife designed for EDC kits. When designing it, Civivi specialists set themselves the goal of creating a high-quality, but affordable tool, accessible to a wide range of users. The folder is ergonomic and practical, using proven solutions - drop point blade and liner lock. Thanks to the bearings and flipper, it opens smoothly and in a fraction of a second. Copper particles are embedded in the handle, which gives the knife a more industrial feel.
Civivi Praxis folding knife - steel
The Civivi Praxis was forged from 9Cr18MoV steel. It is a martensitic stainless steel with high chromium and carbon content. The presence of the former element increases corrosion resistance. In turn, the addition of molybdenum and silicon improves strength. The steel has been hardened from 57 to 59 HRC.
Civivi Praxis folding knife - head.
The knife has a blade of the widely used and proven Drop Point type. The small thickness of the cutting edge, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut perfectly. A section of the blade's back is covered with the so-called upper jimping, a notch that allows the thumb to rest safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work requiring greater precision and leverage.
Stonewash
Thanks to the Stonewash finish, the blade has been stained black and covered with irregular, fine scratches that mask well subsequent scratches that occur during normal use of the knife.
Civivi Praxis folding knife - bearings, flipper and liner lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism.
The liner lock makes the tool safe and trustworthy. The knife opens with a flipper. When the head pops out of the handle, it forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Civivi Mini Praxis folding knife - handle
The handle of the Civivi Praxis is made of green G-10 plastic, and the rough texture of the liners makes the knife fit well even in a sweaty hand . Thanks to the open backed design, the tool can be cleaned and oiled without much trouble.
Civivi Mini Praxis - clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a double-sided clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case. The manufacturer remembered to include a microfiber cloth to help clean the tool.
