The Civivi Baby Banter's blade is made of Nitro-V. It is a stainless, martensitic steel with a high chromium content. The alloy was enriched with nitrogen and vanadium. This increased the hardness of the material while reducing susceptibility to corrosion. Due to the last property, Nito V is used for tools used in humid environments.

The knife features a blade of the widely used and proven Drop Point type, finished in Black Stonewashed. The pronounced belly, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut perfectly. A section of the blade's back is covered with a so-called upper jimping, or notch, allowing the folder to be manipulated, especially during work requiring greater precision and leverage.

The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The designer used a liner lock, and the knife opens with a thumb stud made of titanium.

The handle of the Civivi Baby Banter is made of G10 laminate. It is a composite formed from a combination of fiberglass and synthetic resin. It is characterized by low weight and high resistance to mechanical damage. The rough texture of the facings makes the knife lie securely even in a sweaty and overworked hand. The open backed design of the body makes it easy to clean the knife.
