The Civivi Elementum II's blade is made of Nitro-V. It is a stainless, martensitic steel with high chromium content. The alloy was enriched with nitrogen and vanadium. This increased the hardness of the material while reducing susceptibility to corrosion. Because of the last property, Nito-V is used to manufacture tools used in humid environments.

The knife features a Drop Point type blade finished in Black Stonewashed. The small thickness, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut very well. A section of the back of the blade is covered by the so-called upper jimping, or notching. It makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work that requires greater precision.
