The knife uses a blade with a usable drop point profile, made of CPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to 59-61 HRC.
The 72 mm long blade is of optimal size and functionality, great for everyday tasks. CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures its optimal sharpness for a long time.
The blade is covered with a protective layer of Cerakote, which has a very high abrasion resistance, and protects the blade from corrosive elements.
Quick and convenient unfolding and reliable locking mechanism
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to a double-sided peg, allowing right- and left-handed people to operate the knife comfortably. The knife features several decorative elements, in the form of an orange anodized peg and polished spacer sleeves in the same color scheme.
The head lock is, of course, Axis-lock, Benchmade's flagship mechanism, prized for its great resistance to stress, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.

Thanks to the use of Grivory plastic liners, the knife's design is extremely lightweight. The knife weighs only 42.5 grams and when carrying it in your pocket, you almost forget about it. The orange color of the facings contrasts strikingly with the black clip and screws.
Gently profiled facings with non-slip texturing, provide a firm grip on the knife. The low profile of the facings and the small size when folded (94 mm) make the Mini Bugout so convenient for everyday carrying that we can forget about its presence in the pocket.
Pocket clip
The compact clip, with an option to translate (left/right), allows the knife to be carried in the pocket in a very discreet, unobtrusive way. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid.
