Diana Airbug 5.5 mm - precision CO2 airgun for target shooting
The Diana Airbug 5.5 mm has a classic wooden barrel, a furrowed steel barrel, mechanical sighting instruments and an 11 mm rail for mounting an optoelectronic sight. The sporty character of the air rifle is emphasized by its ergonomic grip with finger cutouts and a shelf. Thanks to such functionality, the airgun provides a stable grip when shooting with one hand. The Airbug 5.5mm pistol is powered by a 12gCO2 capsule mounted in a metal tube under the barrel, and we can fire more than 40 shots from a single capsule with an equal initial velocity of about 160 m/s. TheCO2 gas drive means that the airgun does not generate any recoil after firing, which affects the comfort and precision of shooting. The gun uses a furrowed barrel with a length of as much as 210 mm, which has a significant impact on the accuracy and repeatability of shots. Safety is taken care of by the pierced safety located above the trigger within reach of the finger.
The Diana Airbug air rifle shoots 5.5mm shotgun shells. To load it, there is a bolt-action mechanism, operated by an enlarged metal lever. The Diana Airbug 5.5mm pistol features an adjustable DIT trigger mechanism. The trigger of the airbug has little resistance, is easily felt and predictable, which significantly affects the precision and repeatability of shots.
The pistol comes standard with mechanical sighting instruments in the form of a fixed musket and a micrometer sights adjustable in two planes. If we want to try our hand at shooting at a longer distance, we can mount the optical sight of our choice on the 11mm dorsal rail.
