A modernized version of the proven Benchmade Taggedout hunting folder, made with even better quality materials. G10 material facings guarantee even higher mechanical resistance in this case, while high-end S45VN steel makes the knife hold its sharpness perfectly and resist the humid working environment.
The Benchmade 15536 Taggedout is a handy folding knife that can be described as a Bugout for hunters. The Benchmade 15536 Taggedout hunting folder combines lightweight, functionality and great quality materials, so it can easily handle any task in the woods - from preparing a meal at camp, to skinning and binding game, to cutting paracord and planing sticks.
Features of the Benchmade 15536 Taggedout folding knife:
- Modern steel blade: Made of high-quality CPM-S45VN powder steel, hardened to a hardness of 58-61 HRC. CPM-S45VN steel provides excellent sharpness retention, exceptional corrosion resistance and durability, ideal for use in humid environments. The blade is contoured with SelectEdge 34° technology (17° per side), providing a thin, perfectly sharp cutting edge, ideal for precision tasks such as skinning, boning meat, filleting or slicing.
- Functional Blade: The slim 69mm Clip Point head is perfect for a variety of hunting and outdoor tasks. Thanks to the large hole in the head, the blade can be easily unfolded with one hand, even when wearing gloves, regardless of the user's dominant hand.
- Reliable lock: the Axis Lock mechanism, known for its durability, dirt resistance and ease of use, guarantees safety and comfort.
- Durable and ergonomic handle: G10 composite linings, resistant to water, varying temperatures, acids and solvents. The contoured shape of the handle with finger undercut and rough texture provides a secure grip and comfort, even in demanding conditions. The distinctive orange color of the liners makes it easier to find the knife in the field.
The knife has a slim 69mm long clip point blade, made of extremely hard CPM-S45VN powder steel hardened to 58-61 HRC. CPM-S45VN is a sinter created as a continuation of the successful S30V and S35VN steels, and is characterized by extremely effective sharpness retention and exceptional stainless steel. Such properties make CPM S45VN steel ideal for a skinning hunting knife as well as an advanced outdoor knife. Thanks to its SelectEdge 34° technology (17° per side), the knife has a thin, perfectly sharp cutting edge that is perfect for precision cutting, slicing, filleting and boning meat.

The blade of the Taggedout knife can be conveniently unfolded with one hand by means of a large opening in the head, allowing right- and left-handed people and those wearing gloves to operate the knife comfortably. The head lock is, of course, the Axis Lock, Benchmade's flagship mechanism, prized for its great resistance to stress, insensitivity to dirt and comfort of use.
Durable linings in Benchmade hunting knife
The Benchmade 15535 Taggedout has contoured liners made of extremely durable G10 composite. The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature change, as well as many acids and solvents.
The contoured shape, combined with the finger undercut, cross-milling and rough texture of the plastic, ensure excellent grip of the knife and comfort of use.
Discreetly carrying the knife in a pocket is made possible by the Deep Carry clip, which can be attached to both sides of the liners. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid. The distinctive orange color of the facings makes the knife more noticeable against the background of the forest undergrowth and easier to find if lost.
