Civivi Elementum is a handy folding knife, designed for EDC kits. The combination of minimalist form, precision workmanship and high quality materials has produced a more than satisfactory result. The folder will appeal to both collectors and avid sharp steel enthusiasts, as well as those looking for a reliable and durable tool. It is worth mentioning that Civivi Elementum knives have been recognized and won the Best Buy of The Year 2021 award at the Blade Show.
Civivi Elementum folding knife, or proven steel
The head of the Civivi Elementum is made of D2 steel. Thanks to the high admixture of chromium, the steel is tough and hard. Hardening from 59-61 HRC makes it resistant to abrasion.

The knife features a Drop Point type blade. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut very well. A section of the back of the blade is covered with the so-called upper jimping, or notching, allowing the thumb to rest there safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work that requires more precision and leverage.
The head was satin-finished, giving it a subtle elegance.
Civivi Elementum folding knife - bearings, flipper and Liner Lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. Thanks to the proven Liner Lock lock, the tool is safe and trustworthy.
The knife opens with a flipper. When the head pops out of the handle, the latter forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Durable Ultem liners
The facings of the Civivi Elementum knife are made of gold-coloredUltem material. It is a polyether-alloy characterized by extraordinary resistance to both weather and high temperatures up to 180 ºC. It is also characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and the effects of chemicals such as solvents, lubricants or other chemicals. The open backed design means that the knife can be cleaned and oiled without much trouble.
In the lower part of the handle you can find a hole for a rope or lanyard, in the upper part a small brand logo.
Civivi Elementum - clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case. Civivi even remembered to include a microfiber cloth to help clean the tool.
