TheWalther 3-9 × 44 is a popular variable-magnification windage scope that features open turrets with locking settings, an integrated sunshade and a precision mil-dot sighting reticle.
Rugged construction
The spotting scopehas a one-piece 25.4mm diameter tube made of anodized aluminum. Thanks to the scope being sealed and filled with dry nitrogen gas, the optics do not evaporate and are weatherproof.
The design is also shockproof, so the Walther 3-9×44 scope can also be used on high-energy spring-loaded riflescopes.
Thetube has an integrated sun shade, which reduces glare and enhances contrast even in bright sunlight.
Variable magnification optics
The lenses are coated with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, which improves light transmission and provides a bright, sharp image of the target, making the scope suitable for low-light shooting. There is a ring on the eyepiece for independent focus adjustment.
The optics have a variable magnification of 3-9×, allowing shooting at different distances and a choice between a wide field of view or a strong zoom on the target.
Mil-dot sighting reticle
The Walther 3-9×44 sight uses the popular Mil -dot sighting reticle, consisting of 4 thin beams on which dots are applied at regular intervals, allowing the user to apply corrections (without changing the barrel setting) and calculate the distance to the target.
Mil-dot crosshairs are used most often in sniper optics and windsock scopes. Adjustment of the reticle vertically and horizontally is made with open dr ums with a clique value of 0.7 mm/10 m.
The moleskine turrets have a setting lock, which is done by tightening the ring. The scope has a fixed parallax set at a distance of 10 m.
Accessories included
Along with the scope, we receive sturdy mounting rings for the 11 mm rail and polymer lens covers.
