TheUmarex 3-9 × 40 AO IR is a rugged optical sight with variable magnification, equipped with an illuminated target reticle and parallax adjustment.
Rugged construction
The spotting scope has a one-piece 25.4mm diameter tube made of anodized aluminum with a matte finish. Thanks to the scope being sealed and filled with dry nitrogen gas, the optics do not evaporate and are insensitive to weather conditions.
The design is also shockproof, so the Umarex 3-9×40 scope can also be used on high energy spring-loaded riflescopes.
Variable magnification
The lenses are coated with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, which improves light transmission and provides a bright, sharp image of the target, making the scope suitable for low-light shooting.
There is a ring on the eyepiece for independent focus adjustment. The optics have a variable magnification of 3-9×, allowing you to shoot at different distances and choose between a wide field of view or a strong approximation of the target.
Type 8 sighting reticle
The Umarex 3-9 × 40 AO IR sight uses an illuminated Type 8 (commonly known as Duplex) sighting reticle consisting of 4 thick arms, with thin hairlines in the center.
This is one of the most popular crosshairs, as it allows both precise and fast shooting in different lighting conditions. The reticle is adjusted using covered drums with a clique value of 0.7 mm/10 m.
The crosshair has a 7-stage illumination adjustment. The large adjustment range allows comfortable operation regardless of lighting conditions.
Parallax adjustment
There is a ring on the lens that allows smooth compensation of parallax error (the error of the point of view affecting the aiming point).
Parallax correction allows you to fine-tune the focus of the image depending on the distance at which you are shooting.
Ready to mount
Along with the scope, you get sturdy mounting rings for the 11mm rail and polymer lens covers.
