Nearly 200 years later, this method of food preservation is still practiced and most of us regularly buy canned foods in the form of canned meat, fish, fruit, sauces, etc.
Advantages of food preservation:

Nel can sealer in the offer of Kolba.pl store is a solid and precise device
The handheld can sealer with a solid and handy design weighing 8 kg was made of high-quality materials using professional CNC lathes.
The steel parts of the sealer have been subjected to zinc plating, a process of applying a protective layer of zinc, which effectively protects against corrosion due to water, air and mechanical damage.
Which makes it easy to keep the device clean.
Simple and easy operation of the Nel can sealer
The design of the device is based on a solid bottom base mounted to the countertop, which is made of aluminum, polyamide and steel. Stable mounting is crucial when you want to carry out the process of closing cans quickly and precisely.
The unit's double-bearing rollers are hardened to 38-52 HRC, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
Each hand sealer is carefully calibrated, and the quality of the double tab (lock key) is carefully checked. The test is carried out using a special microscope (profiprojector) to analyze the double tab.
The can sealing device has a quick movement system, so that we are able to close a can with one movement of the lever.
The time required to tightly close one can is only 10 seconds. The device is suitable for closing cans with a height of 20-120 mm and a diameter of 52-99 mm.
Features of Nel can sealer:
- Robust construction made using CNC lathes
- The quality of the double tab is checked using a professional microscope

Simple preparation
The first step before canning is to sanitize the cans. We can carry out the activity by boiling the can in hot water or soaking it in a 2% solution of peroxide.
We put the prepared insert according to our own recipe into the dry can, in such a way that the filling level is about 1 cm below the edge of the can. Clean the edges of the can with a paper towel, then cover the can with a lid.
Quick home production
After preparing the cans in advance (filling the insert), we are able to cure up to 6 cans per minute.
We place the filled can on the bottom base, which is placed on a special vertical screw, and tighten it upwards to the base that presses the lid of the closed can.
Closing the can is done in one smooth movement witha lever located on the left side of the device, at the same time turning the upper lever, which sets the can in motion around its axis.
Sterilization of cans
The element that has the greatest impact on the shelf life of prepared canned food is, of course, proper pasteurization. Properly preserved food can be stored for up to several years. The canned food retains its full flavor and is free of bacteria.
The most popular and simple method that we can carry out at home is, of course, tyndalization. This process involves boiling the canned food 3 times (every 24 hours).
Already in the first cooking most of the bacteria, responsible for food spoilage, are killed. In the second stage we destroy the bacteria that survived, after the third stage the food is practically sterile.
On the first day of tyndalization, we cook the canned food for 3 hours, on the second day for 2 hours, on the third day for 1 hour. After each cooking, the canned food should be tempered by placing it in cold water. In the process, it is important to keep 24 h intervals and to temper the cans after cooking.
After this process, the canned food can be stored for up to 5 years without refrigeration.
