The Type 22 P-Grip by B5 Systems has an armored construction, made of Mil-Spec specification plastic. This makes the grip lightweight, rigid and resistant to mechanical damage. The grip has aggressively textured sides and front, which contributes to excellent control and comfort in holding the carbine. Unlike the P-Grip 23 grip, the P-Grip 22 grip does not have a spur (beaver tail), which allows the shooter to place his hand much higher on the grip and increase control of the weapon.
The P-Grip B5 Systems pistol grip has a lower angle relative to the trigger chamber, which provides additional distance between the hand and the shooter's body, enhances control and improves weapon stability. A grip with such an inclination reduces the tension on the wrist during shooting, which is why it is considered by many shooters to be more comfortable than the standard factory grip. The functionality of the grip can be increased by buying an additional B5 battery holder.
