Alpinus Fatra II backpack - lightweight and functional.
The new improved version of the Alpinus backpack is equipped with a convenient mount for an ice-check, 4 small buckles with hooks for securing hiking equipment and 2 mounts for trekking poles. In addition, in the Fatra model, the side pockets have been enlarged, where you can store valuable small items such as a cell phone, wallet or keys. On the front, the manufacturer placed a spacious pocket for hiking equipment like a compass, map or an indispensable multitool.
Alpinus Fatra was made of lightweight 210D nylon with water repellent properties. Elements exposed to increased wear such as the outer part of the backpack and the back hem were made of abrasion-resistant fabric. The design uses components from reputable brands such as YKK zippers and durable Duraflex buckles.
The Fatra backpack's capacious main compartment easily accommodates essential equipment. Inside there is also a separation pocket for a laptop or documents and a small zippered pocket. The main compartment houses the H2O hydration system, which provides access to water while walking without removing the backpack.
Carrying system
The Alpinus hiking backpack is characterized by a downward-tapered design, making it ideal for climbing.
The Fatra model is equipped with contoured shoulder straps, which are filled with breathable sponge, so they provide high comfort and adequate air circulation.
Part of the backpack's contoured back consists of a removable frame, and its interior is filled with neoprene, which does not absorb water. Proper contouring ensures comfort and wicking of moisture generated during physical activity. In order to ensure comfort, while moving with the backpack, it has been equipped with an adjustable hip belt, thanks to which we can better adjust the backpack and shift the center of gravity.
On the hip belt there are two zippered pockets for items we want to have "at hand", such as a phone or GPS.

In order to reduce the volume of the backpack when it is not fully loaded, side compression straps were used.
On the front of the backpack there are adjustable elastic bands, which can be removed, and ribbons for easy attachment of hiking equipment.
The Alpinus Fatra also has two laminated loops for attaching and transporting checks during mountain expeditions. The backpack is protected from rain by an integrated cover with additional reflective elements of the Alpinus Safety system.
