The iconic design of the Colt 1911 Classic air rifle
The Colt 1911 Classic is a striking air rifle powered by a CO₂ 12g capsule, which is distinguished by its precise finish and great attention to detail.
The entire construction is made of sturdy metal and equipped with handle facings made of high-quality oiled walnut, on which texturing has been applied to ensure a secure grip.
Such construction gives us an irresistible impression of dealing with a real weapon, which is sure to interest all shooting and militaria enthusiasts. As in firearms, the air rifle is equipped with two fuses, i.e. a grip fuse (Beavertail) and a wing fuse.
The fuse, located on the pistol's grip, enforces the correct grip (high), otherwise firing a shot will not be possible. Aiming is carried out using fixed-set mechanical sighting devices.
Power supply CO₂ in the Colt 1911 air rifle.
The air rifle is powered by a 12g CO₂ capsule, which gives the fired shots a velocity of about 100 m/s and allows up to 45 equal shots to be fired. The CO2 cartridge is mounted in the gun's magazine and tightened with an allen wrench. Installation/replacement of the capsule is very simple and takes just a few seconds.
The revolver shoots 4.5mm (.177) BB steel pellets, which are placed in a magazine with a capacity of 17 rounds.
Single Action trigger mechanism
The airgun uses the classic SA (single action) trigger mechanism, which means that firing a shot requires manual tensioning of the cock each time.
Despite such functionality, the Colt 1911 Classic has a high rate of fire, which depends solely on the skill and training of the shooter.
Robust metal construction, realistic reproduction of details, as well as high performance and repeatability of shots make the Colt 1911 Classic 4.5 mm CO₂ appreciated by all lovers of air rifles and American weapon designs.
