Kizer Mini Grouper - a modern EDC knife in Nitro-V steel in the Kolba hunting store.
The blade is made of Nitro-V steel. It is a stainless, martensitic steel with high chromium content. The alloy was enriched with nitrogen and vanadium. This increased the hardness of the material, while reducing susceptibility to corrosion. Because of the last property, Nitro-V is used in tools used in humid environments. The steel performs very well as a material used in the production of tactical, hunting and EDC knives, and has been hardened to between 61 and 62 HRC.
Utility head in EDC folder
The blade, with a utilitarian Drop Point profile, was finished using the satin (polishing) method. The matte blade is easier to clean and does not reflect light.
The head with a curved, arched shape is an excellent choice for those looking for a knife with very good cutting properties.
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3.2 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife for everyday use.
Kizer Mini Grouper folding knife with robust Button Liner Lock
Thanks to the Button Liner Lock, the tool is secure, releasing the lock by pressing a button located on one of the liners. Under the lock button is a spring that provides enough resistance to prevent the knife from accidentally opening.
Theknife can be opened in one of three ways - with the Flipper, the thumb stud or the button, which will especially appeal to all lovers of sharp tools.
Ultralight liners
The Kizer Nice Mini Grouper has facings made of textured G10, a composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin. The linings have smooth edges, providing a comfortable grip even during prolonged use.
The folder features a double-sided Deep Carry clip for discreet carrying in a pants pocket.
