To ensure that it can operate in all weather conditions, the scope has been sealed and filled with dry nitrogen gas. This eliminates the risk of fogging when operating in low or highly variable temperature conditions.

The scope's settings are adjusted by rotating the turrets with visible scales, allowing the user to quickly adjust the settings, taking into account the distance to the target and the prevailing weather conditions. The Vector Optics Veyron has a diopter correction capability of -2 to +1.2.
