The gun's steel frame provides high system rigidity and unmatched resistance to mechanical stress. The breech is precision CNC-machined from hardened 416 steel, which not only guarantees increased durability, but also affects the system's operating culture. Importantly, the technologies used by LFA allow for accuracy of .0005 inch which minimizes backlash between components.

The milled steel skeleton reduces deflection as well as facilitates recoil compensation during shooting. The angle of inclination characteristic of 1911 pistols and the design that allows the replacement of grip linings guarantee excellent ergonomics. The skeleton has also received an elongated spur, which allows the gun to be shot higher, which in turn has a positive effect on the reduction of underthrow. The breech has received milled holes that relieve pressure on its structure and improve ventilation of the barrel. The deep texturing of the breech, meanwhile, allows for efficient reloading and press check regardless of conditions.
The lock comes standard with an RMSc standard collimator undercut, which allows direct mounting of the sight without cumbersome plates or adapters. The nitrided, fluted match-grade barrel received a protective 8-micron coating that effectively protects it from the corrosive effects of powder combustion products. The gun's lightweight, precision construction, protected by Cerakote coating and nitriding, makes the weapon ideal for both sporting use and will provide an extremely high standard in all kinds of duty applications.
