The collimator is powered by a CR1620 battery, which, according to the manufacturer's data, provides up to 50,000 hours of operationat a brightness setting of 6. The device additionally uses a Solar Failsafe panel, which in strong light (solar or artificial) supports the operation of the battery, is responsible for automatic brightness adjustment of the aiming mark and replaces a discharged battery in an emergency situation. The user can use the automatic brightness adjustment or change the brightness independently have 8 daylight settings and 4 night vision settings at their disposal.
