The 2BME 2BME032 mounting plate allows mounting popular collimator models on the Beretta APX A1 pistol. It fits Docter footprint sights, including the Vortex Venom and Viper.
2BME - Polish plates for mounting a collimator on a weapon
The collimator plates are designed and made by the Polish company TBME (Two Brothers Military Engineering), which uses high-end CNC DMG-Mori machine tools to manufacture its products. TBME plates are dedicated to guns factory (or by a gunsmith) adapted to mount collimators directly on the breech.
The bases are made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, making them extremely strong and extremely lightweight (depending on the model, about 8 g). The plate is finished using military specification hard anodizing (MIL-SPEC), so its surface has increased resistance to scratches and abrasion. Anodizing is a process that hardens the aluminum surface and protects it from oxidation. TBME mounting plates are distinguished not only by their durable finish and perfect fit to the weapon, but also by the possibility of extremely low seating of the collimator on the weapon.
Thanks to the use of measuring probes, the plates are perfectly sized and matched to the weapon's factory cutter. To ensure stable and reliable mounting of the collimator, the plate uses a system of steel interchangeable inserts "Quad Lock", which allowed the use of screws with a strong, multi-thread (excluding models mounted on the so-called dovetail). The kit includes all the components necessary to mount the collimator on the weapon: the strongest 4 A4 grade stainless steel torx mounting screws on the market, a tube of thread glue, and installation instructions.
To mount the plate and collimator, it is recommended to use medium strength thread glue (included) and use a torque wrench with a setting of 1.2 nm. Before final assembly, it is a good idea to mount the complete plate (with threaded inserts) and collimator without using glue. Such verification ensures that the plate is properly matched to the collimator and the weapon.
