TheMossberg MVP Scout cal. 7.62mm/.308 Win is a shortened version of the proven hunting repeater. The rifle can be fed with magazines from AR rifles.
Compact rifle
The rifle has a lightweight polymer stock, making the bed resistant to moisture, temperature change and mechanical damage. Unlike the classic wooden buttstock, the polymer does not require special maintenance. The rifle has classic steel buckles used for mounting the carrying strap. A dorsal Picatinny rail is installed on the weapon, allowing the mounting of a scope or collimator.
Barrel with an exhaust brake
The MVP Scoutt rifle uses a 413 mm long barrel (med bull) terminating in an external thread, on which an exhaust brake is installed to reduce recoil and flame. Thanks to the use of a rigid semi-heavy barrel, the rifle has excellent focus, so it will be great for both shooting and hunting. The short thread pitch (1:10) allows the use of heavy bullets.
The repeater has an adjustable LBA trigger mechanism, which allows the shooter to adjust the trigger parameters to his own preferences. The weapon is equipped with a spiral-twist four-barrel slide-and-twist lock. The versatility of the carbine is emphasized by the mechanical sighting instruments in the form of a sight and a fiber optic bow tie.
