Carbine Hatsan Galatian IIITH (TH - thumbhole) is a modern and precisely made multi-shot air rifle (16-14 or 13-shot depending on caliber) PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) with impressive shooting capabilities.
The Galatian III model is equipped with several interesting solutions that result in increased comfort during shooting, precision of the shots fired as well as increase the level of safety when operating the air rifle.
The Galatian model is especially recommended to air rifle hobbyists who prefer any kind of modification or tuning.
The carbine is equipped with a large replaceable aluminum compressed air tank (cartridge), which allows for 80 to 180 effective shots, depending on the degree of modification. Precise shooting is ensured by a threaded barrel, which ends in a 1/2" UNF male thread which allows the installation of a sound suppressor, a recoil compensator or a separator. The magazine was made of lightweight yet durable aluminum. Galatian series windcheaters are distinguished by their large magazine capacity. Depending on the caliber, 16-shot (4.5mm cal.), 14-shot (5.5mm cal.) or 13-shot (6.35mm cal.) are offered.
Ergonomically made of durable plastic, the stock has a contoured thumbhole (TH - thumbhole).
On the butt there is a contoured Monte Carlo-type cheek pad, making it easier to fold up to shoot as well as aim. The flask is adapted for both right- and left-handed people, and there is an additional slot for a spare magazine at the bottom of the flask. The design of the flask allows full adjustment of the length of the bead and the height of the buttstock with screws. The carbine is equipped with mounting rails compatible with the 11 mm standard and 22 mm (picatinny) allowing the mounting of any optical sight.
The Galatian series is equipped with a number of technical solutions that increase safety of use:
Quattro Trigger - two-stage adjustable trigger mechanism (adjustment of pressure force as well as trigger length). It allows to individualize the trigger characteristics to the user's requirements improving both accuracy and ease of shooting.
Manual safety - protecting against uncontrolled shots.
Anti-double-pellet feed - A mechanism that prevents more than one shotgun pellet from being loaded into the barrel.
Anti-Knock System® - A patented system that prevents loss of compressed air in the event of mechanical impact with the windgun.
A shotgun pellet fired from the rifle reaches a velocity of up to 250 m/s.
