This means that the cell can be discharged and recharged daily over a period of 1.5 years - which clearly emphasizes its quality and performance. Due to the lack of memory effect, Fenix batteries can be recharged at any time without adversely affecting their capacity and service life. The steel body provides high mechanical strength and minimizes the risk of short-circuiting caused by a fall or impact. The battery uses pressurized vents, responsible for expelling gas that can lead to a bloat or explosion during an incidental short circuit.
