Premium steel in the Kershaw Leek folder
TheKershaw Leek was created with everyday use in mind, which is clearly emphasized by its small size, lightweight construction and typically functional style.
The 75mm-long blade is made of CPM MagnaCut super steel produced using powder-coated technology. The main difference between CPM MagnaCut steel and other stainless steels is the amount of chromium. The elimination of chromium carbides from the steel's composition has resulted in a fine microstructure, making CPM MagnaCut much easier to sharpen compared to steels with similar wear resistance.
CPM MagnaCut combines the strength of CPM-4V, the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV, the retention of CPM-CruWear/ CPM-4V and an impressive hardness of as much as 64 HRC, making it now considered one of the world's best steels used in factory-made knives.
Comfort of use
The blade can be unfolded with one hand in two ways: using the milled Flipper or using the two-sided peg, thus allowing us to choose the method according to our preferences.
Both solutions are convenient for both right- and left-handed users, and also allow comfortable operation of the knife with gloves.
Durable Frame Lock in EDC knife
A monolithic Frame Lock, considered one of the most durable locking mechanisms, effectively protects the blade from accidental folding.
The knife's handle is formed by410 stainless steel facings, gently contoured to the hand. To finish the grip as well as the blade, an oxidizing method was used, so that theThe knife has a military style.
Convertible clip
Discreetly carrying the knife in your pocket is made possible by a high-set z-clip. The back of the handle has a hole designed for attaching a decorative paracord braid, which are very popular among most knife owners.
