The Ruike folding knife has an 88mm-long blade made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, which, due to the high purity of the alloy, is distinguished by its high hardness, resistance to corrosion and, importantly for the user, long retention of working sharpness.
Ruike cryogenically hardens the steel to an optimal usable hardness of 57-59 HRC, which ensures long retention of sharpness and adequate impact strength. The slim head with Drop Point profileand flat grind ensure smooth and aggressive cutting.
On the upper part of the back there are transverse cutters that serve as a finger support during precision work. The blade has been coated with a black protective coating that protects the blade from minor scratches and light reflections, further adding to the tactical look.
Robust and secure locking mechanism in the Ruike folder
The folder is equipped with ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The Button Lock keeps the tool secure. The latter is released by pressing a button located on one of the facings. Under the lock button is a spring, which provides enough resistance to prevent the knife from accidentally opening.
The bladecan be instantly unfolded with one hand thanks to the Flipper, which, together with ball bearings, provides a very smooth and comfortable operation of the blade. The Flipper, when opened, acts as a deerstalker.
The linings in the EDC knife made of G10
The handle linings are made of green G10, a composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin. The linings have smooth edges, providing a comfortable grip even during prolonged use. Thanks to the open-backed design, the knife can be easily cleaned. The back of the handle features a cross-milled backspacer and a hole for attaching a cord.
The folder is equipped with a single-sided clip for conveniently carrying the knife in a trouser pocket.
