The Springfield Echelon Tryt 4.5 cal. 9x19 mm pistol is an innovative short gun that features a revolutionary VIS optics mounting system that allows the user to mount more than 30 of the most popular collimator sights without the use of adapter plates. Under the grille plate is located the Echelon optics mounting system, which allows the user to properly configure the self-locking pins to achieve a low mount for a collimator sight.

The new modular Central Operating Group (COG) is fully self-contained, numbered and complete, giving the user the ability to rearrange and change grips in seconds. According to the Polish Law on Arms and Ammunition, the grips can be changed, as they are not essential parts of the weapon.
Users can mount the Central Operating Group in any Echelon grip module for a perfect fit of the weapon to the hand. The weapon comes standard with a medium-sized module and three pieces of interchangeable backstraps. Module frames - small and large - are available for purchase separately.
