ThePARD NV-008SP2 850 nm digital night vision scope is a compact hunting scope that can be used for shooting and observation both during the day and at night. The sight is equipped with an Imaging Engine module, which provides an improved visual image - quality improved by more than 20% compared to the NV008P model, and 5 ballistic profiles, so we can use one night vision scope on several riflescopes without the need to re-shoot each time.

Night vision scope with 6.5× optical magnification
The cap uses a CMOS sensor and a high-end OLED display with military specifications, which guarantees high resolution of 1440 x 1080 px and image clarity with guaranteed uninterrupted operation even at low temperatures. The device allows observation in full color (daytime) or nighttime mode supported by IR 850 nm illuminator with 3-level light intensity adjustment. Along with the scope, we receive a new longer Picatinny / Weaver / RIS rail mount allowing the scope to be mounted on various weapon models with this mount interface.
The optical magnification of 6.5× can be doubled, thus obtaining a digital magnification of 13× magnification. The scope uses a memory mode of 5 ballistic profiles with independent settings for the target reticle's color, type and position, so the night vision scope can be used on weapons of different calibers without the need for re-tuning.
An additional Picatinny interface allows mounting an additional infrared emitter or other accessories needed for hunting. Such functionality makes the PARD NV-008SP2 night vision sight an extremely versatile and functional hunting sight.

Adjustable IR emitter with a wavelength of 850 nm, combined with the latest CMOS sensor with increased light-capture sensitivity (20% higher than in similar competitor models) guarantees comfortable observation at a distance of 500 meters (in complete darkness). The increased sensitivity of the sensor allows observation also without an IR illuminator, which of course greatly reduces the risk of detection of the observer.
To operate the PARD NV-008SP2, there are 5 buttons located on the top and side of the body, so you can easily cope with operating the sight even in complete darkness. The viewfinder is powered by a replaceable 18650 battery, which can be charged without removing it from the device via a USB-C port. The built-in port also allows you to extend the operating time by using an external power bank. Thanks to the stand-by mode, the PARD NV-008SP2 not only has an extended operating time (up to 8 hours), but also an instant start of the device in ~ 1 second.
Of course, the manufacturer did not forget about the video recorder function, so we can record our hunts in the form of 1920 × 1080 FHD 30 fps video or 2608 × 1944 5 mpx photos. The device features a Micro SD memory card port with support for media with a maximum capacity of 128 GB. The user can also transfer recorded data via WiFi (WLAN).
Despite its lightweight and compact design, the PARD NV-008SP2 (only 175 mm in length) features impressive resistance to weapon recoil - up to 6,000 J, so the sight can be safely used on hunting weapons with 9.3 × 62 and 375 H&H calibers.
