RazorGun Steel Core Devastator in .68 caliber (17.2 mm) is a special ammunition designed for airguns in .68 cal. Thanks to its metal core and polymer jacket with leading cutouts, this ammunition features increased accuracy and weight. This is of great importance if you want to shoot at longer distances more precisely than is the case with ordinary bullet ammunition. In addition, the steel core will not deform quickly after hitting the target and exhibits higher penetrability. The package contains 40 rounds.
Features of RazorGun Steel Core Devastator ammunition:
- Robust and patented manufacturing by a domestic manufacturer
- Longitudinal grooves on the jacket that impart a spinning motion to the bullet
- Increased range and accuracy
- High mass, and therefore the projectiles' knockdown power
Stable flight path
In order to be able to shoot accurately with a smoothbore (furrowless) weapon such as the HDS-68 shotgun, Core Devastator bullets had to be equipped with longitudinal grooves on the polymer jacket. Because they twist relative to each other, a spinning motion is imparted to the bullet as it passes through the barrel. The centrifugal force causes the bullet to fly in a straight line. This also makes it less sensitive to wind and the varying hygroscopicity of air.
Metal core of the bullet
Bullets have a heavy metal mass (core) in the front. This makes them carry a large charge of energy, which they then give off when they hit the target. When shooting at thinner objects, they will easily pierce it through. The .68 caliber RazorGun Steel Core Devastator was manufactured in Poland. The product has been filed with the Patent Office. The bullets are packed in a polymer box of 40 bullets each.
