The blade in the Kizer knife made of American tool steel
The Drop Point profile blade is made of Nitro-V steel. It is a stainless, martensitic steel with high chromium content. The alloy was enriched with nitrogen and vanadium. This increased the hardness of the material, while reducing susceptibility to corrosion. Because of the last property, Nitro-V is used in tools used in humid environments. The steel performs very well as a material used in the production of tactical, hunting and EDC knives. It is hardened between 61 and 62 HRC.
Kizer Dogfish folding knife with robust Button Lock lock
Thanks to the Button Lock, the tool is secure, releasing the lock by pressing a button located on one of the liners. Under the lock button is a spring that provides enough resistance to prevent the knife from accidentally opening.
Kizer Dogfish folding knife - Mircarta handle
The handle is made of Micarta, a composite material of canvas pressed under pressure with synthetic resin. The edges of the facings are smooth and provide an ergonomic, comfortable grip. Thanks to the open-backed design, the knife can be easily cleaned.
To meet the needs of users, the knife has a clip designed in such a way that the mounted knife rests deep in the pocket. Such a solution allows for so-called Deep Carry, i.e. more convenient and stealthy carrying of the knife.
