Kizer Yorkie V3525A2 - high quality EDC knife for outdoor enthusiasts
The head with Drop Point profile is made of Nitro-V steel. It is a stainless, martensitic steel with high chromium content. The alloy was enriched with nitrogen and vanadium. This increased the hardness of the material, while reducing susceptibility to corrosion. Because of the last property, Nitro-V is used in tools used in humid environments. The steel performs very well as a material used in the production of tactical, hunting and EDC knives. It is hardened between 60 and 62 HRC.
Thanks to the Flipper, the knife can be quickly and easily unfolded with one hand. Such a solution makes the knife not only instantly ready for use, but also comfortable for right and left-handed users. When the blade is unfolded, it is locked by the popular Liner Lock, a mechanism valued for its strength and comfort. The locking function is performed by a skeleton strip (liners), which, when the blade is unfolded, supports its root and prevents it from folding during use.
Ergonomic liners in Kizer folding knife
The liners in the knife are made of lightweight and durable orange-coloredG10 plastic - a durable composite that guarantees a firm grip and good resistance to wear, weather and dirt resistance. The knife weighs only 71 g, so when you put it in your pocket, you can practically forget about its existence.
The rigidity and strength of the structure is provided by a steel insert supported by aluminum spacer sleeves. Convenient carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a spring clip (one-sided).
