Civivi Vision FG with an extremely corrosion-resistant blade
The folder is equipped with a Reverse Tanto profile blade, which was created from Nitro-V stainless steel, characterized by similar properties to the popular Sandvik 14C28N. Excellent corrosion resistance with good edge retention make the Vision FG an ideal choice for an EDC knife.
Nitro-V is a stainless martensitic knife steel is chromium-based. The manufacturer enriched the existing AEB-L steel with nitrogen and vanadium, resulting in a high hardness of 59-61 HRC and unparalleled corrosion resistance, which is extremely important when tools are used in marine or high humidity environments.
Vision FG folder with a two-way locking mechanism on offer at Kolba store
The Civivi folding knife is equipped with a two-way Superlock, which protects the user during use.
The blade is locked when the backspacer is moved backwards, so there is no risk of accidentally unlocking the blade.
The design allows easy disassembly and access to the locking mechanism, so the user can easily clean it.
High comfort of the Vision FG knife
The liners in the folder were attached to steel liners that provide adequate rigidity in the construction. The liners were made of Lexan plastic. This is a light and rigid plastic, which is characterized by excellent mechanical properties, especially in terms of impact strength, and high transparency. It is a great alternative to glass, as it is 200 to 300 times more resistant to impact, making it almost incapable of destruction.
In order to reduce the weight of the knife, the handle has holes cut in the liners.
The knife has a double-sided clip (right/left), which allows you to comfortably carry the folder in tip-up position, hooked to the edge of your pants pocket.
