Installation of the Timney trigger mechanism in the Timney Tikka 3 rifle is an extremely easy, effective and safe weapon tuning that allows precise adjustment of the striker, idle movement and trigger resistance in the first and second stages, which impressively improves the accuracy and repeatability of our shots. The total weight of the trigger pull, is measured by adding the weight of the first and second stages. At the factory, the first stage is 8 ounces (expandable to 1 pound), and the second stage is set at 1 pound (expandable to 2.5 pounds), for a total of 1.5 pounds of pull.
