The PCC Son of Gun SOG carbine in 9x19 mm Para caliber and with a barrel length of 6.7" is one of the latest design creations of the Polish company Son Of Gun. This futuristic-looking carbine for pistol ammunition was designed in cooperation with Japanese engineers. It efficiently combines the compactness of a submachine gun with the ergonomics and handling known from AR-15 platforms. Importantly, it is a lightweight and highly foldable weapon, which significantly increases its capabilities during sport shooting. Thanks to its out-of-the-box design, it is unique on the domestic market.
The carbine was created for the civilian market and is a purely self-repeating weapon with no continuous fire capability. It is available for 9x19 mm Parabellum ammunition.

Low weight in a modern form
For maximum low weight, the construction relies on the use of a reinforced polymer, which is a fiberglass-filled nylon. This plastic is characterized by excellent mechanical properties. Steel was used only in places where its use was structurally required.
Mechanism of operation
The PCC SOG-X pistol operates on the simple principle of free breech recoil, supported by a return spring located on one axis with the butt. The use of S45C steel reduced recoil. The reloading lever is located on the left side, just on the front bed. As a result, it is easily accessible by the hand supporting the weapon and does not move during firing. It can also serve as a form of thumb rest for increased stability during dynamic fire.
Targeting Instruments
The SOG-X carbine is not equipped with mechanical sighting instruments at the factory. Thanks to the Picantinny 22mm rail, you can independently install any form of targeting instruments such as a collimator.
Barrel characteristics
The weapon has a cold drawn SCM 440 steel barrel with a length of 6.7". The threads of the barrel tube are furrowed 1:10, nitrided coating. The threads at the barrel exit are 1/2"-36TPI-2A.
