Kizer Task folding knife - solid steel and proven lock.
The satin-finished blade of the Kizer Task folder with Reverse Tanto profile is made of hard 154CM tool steel, hardened to 60-61 HRC. 154CM is a high-carbon stainless steel enriched with molybdenum, so it can be described as an improved version of 440C. American 154CM steel is valued for its resistance to corrosion and wear (high impact strength), long maintenance of working sharpness and relative ease of sharpening.
In the top, the front of the blade is tapered, giving the blade even better target penetration.
Kizer offers folders with an innovative locking mechanismClutch Lock. The design of the lock is based on the placement of a double-sided bolt in the handle, which locks the blade when the knife is opened. The design of the Gemini system, with which the lock is equipped, consists of two omega-shaped springs.
Laminate handle
The facings on the Task folder are made of G-10 laminate, a fiberglass composite and synthetic resin. The edges of the facings are smooth and provide an ergonomic, comfortable grip. The Micarta handle ensures safe operation of the knife even with dirty or wet hands.
Kizer Task folding knife - discreet carry
To meet the needs of users, the knife has a double-sided clip designed in such a way that the mounted knife rests deep in the pocket. Such a solution allows for the so-called deep carry, i.e. more convenient and stealthy carrying of the knife.
