The strongest point of the Tikka series of rifles are the barrels, which are widely regarded as some of the most accurate and durable barrels from serial production. The rifle uses a heavy, free-floating barrel that effectively eliminates vibration and does not overheat, even during intensive shooting. Shooting performance and comfort are provided by an enlarged shell ejector window, Teflon-coated lock, lock chamber in the T3X system, reinforced lock cover, improved steel bolt. The Tikka T3x has a rotary-slide lock equipped with two solid bolts. The opening angle of the lock is 70°, which makes it easy to mount the scope on a low base. The lock works extremely quietly and smoothly, and thanks to the ergonomically located reloading lever, the operation of the rifle is faster and more convenient. The rifle is powered by a single-row, detachable magazine with a capacity of 5 cartridges. A two-position safety, when activated, locks the trigger mechanism (with accelerator) and the operation of the breech lever. The trigger mechanism has an adjustable trigger force from 10 N to 20 N (from about 1 to 2 kg).
